Ōtautahi Christchurch is gearing up to host the World Buskers Festival from 24 January to 2 February 2025. This beloved 10-day event, now in its 32nd year, has become a highlight of the city’s cultural calendar.

This year’s festival is set to attract over 100,000 visits (approximately 30,000 individual visitors), making it a prime opportunity to maximise foot traffic and sales in the late January summer season. With the festival’s buzz already in the air, now is the time to prepare for an influx of activity across the city.

This year, the World Buskers Festival promises over 300 dynamic performances spread across 12 iconic locations:
