Digital Systems Manager

August 2026

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Digital Systems Manager looks after the health, integration, and evolution of Business Canterbury's digital platforms, making sure our people have the tools, data, and support they need to do great work for our members.

You don't need to be an advanced coder. You do need to know your way around a CRM, understand how data moves between systems, and get a kick out of turning a messy manual process into something clean and automated.

Learning and Events Manager

August 2026

Lead the events and training programme thousands of Canterbury businesses turn up for, learn from, and come back to.

Business Canterbury sits at the heart of the region's business community. We hear what is keeping businesses up at night and what they are quietly excited about, often before anyone else does. This role turns that into something real: a highly trusted and visible learning and events programme.

You will lead our learning and events team and own the programme end to end, deciding what we run, for whom, and in what form. That means backing the ideas worth backing, letting go of what has run its course, and managing the commercial performance that keeps the whole thing sustainable.

Reporting to our Head of Advocacy and Strategy, you have a rare vantage point over the region's business landscape and a mandate to do something with it. The measure of success is a programme recognised as the best of its kind, and a Canterbury business community that is more capable and better connected because of it.
