Our journey on

Sustainability

In 1987, the United Nations Brundtland Commission defined sustainability as “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”. Here at Business Canterbury, we acknowledge our responsibility to support a positive future for all and as such we are proud to have attained our Toitū net carbon zero status in 2023.

Attaining this accreditation forms part of our ongoing commitment to improve sustainability and reduce our carbon footprint as wek as supporting our members as they embark on their own sustainability journeys.
